Agreement of Sibling Doula Services, Limits and Fees

Services:

1. Doula has the necessary skills and training so as to enable Doula to perform the services for which the sibling doula has been contracted.

Doula will support Client’s decisions within the Doula’s scope of practice.

2. The care provided by Doula includes, but is not limited to; sibling care, light housekeeping (e.g., laundry, washing bottles, loading

dishwasher), and meal preparation. Please note child care and emotional support is the primary focus and all other household tasks will be

completed if/when all children are napping/sleeping.

3. Doula is not a medical provider and does NOT diagnose or treat medical conditions in the Client or children, as this is outside Doula’s

scope of practice.

4. Doula(s) will provide a two-hour “get-to-know-you visit” prior to the birth where she spends time with your child(ren) so as to become a

familiar face. Parents can stay home for this visit or take this time to get some last-minute errands completed.

5. Doula(s) on-call availability starts at 38 weeks. This on-call date can be altered to fit any 3 weeks of on-call availability if you have had

prior births come early.

6. Your doula will provide up to 12 hours of continuous sibling support while you are in labor and in the early hours postpartum. If you need

support beyond 12 hours, additional hours of support will be charged at the hourly rate of $35/hour. After 6 hours, your doula may rely on

back-up support to continue to provide coverage. At no time will your child(ren) be left unattended.

7. **Please note** If you have more than 2 children that will need in-home care the base rate as well as hourly rate does increase.

Fees for Services: 

8. By signing below you accept the terms and conditions of this contract. Sibling doula services as defined in this contrast start at the rate of

$650.00 with additional hour’s added if needed by the Client and are available with the Doula(s). A non-refundable retainer fee of $325.00 is

required at the signing of this contract. Deposit refundable only for medical reasons related to mother or baby.

9. Client is responsible for any and all parking fees incurred at each shift. Parking fees will be included in the weekly billing.

10. I, the undersigned, have read this contract for sibling doula services. I accept and agree to the terms and conditions.
